I went to Chem (good) spanish (where i guiltily confessed that i had actually taken a year of spanish and therefore shouldn't be in 101, but that i knew absolutely none and was granted an "okay" on the grounds that my prior class was instructed in english), and Cog Sci (interesting, except for me spazzily and abruptly spilling a bottle of water on myself). I also went on a quest to find my academic advisor that rivals, if not surpasses Alice's trip down the rabbit hole (Minus the trippy cat). It included a walk all the way across campus, leaving me sopping wet, Nancy Drew-ing my way up Rugby Road, getting (usually faulty) advice from various Southern maintenance guys and eventually finding a building that literally IS NOT ON ANY MAP, OR DENOTED/SIGNED IN ANY WAY. for serious, the construction workers standing 50 yds away from it told me they'd never heard of it. Also i ran into a kid who i knew only on an acquaintance level in high school. apparently no one told him IM NOT A HUGGER because he went in for one: TWICE! at the beginning AND the end of chatting. And i was soaking wet, making my already challenged hugging style even worse.
